Senior Accountant, International Transactions

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior International Tax Accountant to support international indirect tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities within its global tax organization. This role will assist with VAT/GST filings, tax analysis, business advisory support, and research of tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review Indian and foreign VAT/GST returns, ensuring accurate and timely compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Support tax advisory activities related to billing transactions, customer inquiries, and indirect tax matters
• Conduct research on tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions and provide guidance on the impact of legislative or regulatory changes
• Gather and maintain supporting documentation required for tax audits, reviews, and governmental inquiries
• Assist with governance and control activities to support compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements
