Senior Accountant

About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, integrity, and compliance across multiple business entities. You will oversee general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes within a global finance environment.

What you'll do

• Prepare and post general ledger journals in accordance with accounting policies and reporting requirements
• Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of ledger balances across assigned entities
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items promptly
• Support timely month-end and year-end closing activities in line with global reporting deadlines
• Manage accruals, prepayments, and other period-end adjustments
