Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to own the accounting and close process across Wahed’s multiple entities and currencies. You will run month-end closure to tight deadlines, manage reconciliations and treasury activity, support financial projections, and work closely with finance and business stakeholders around the world.

What you'll do

• Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close across multiple entities, delivering accurate books within agreed monthly closure deadlines
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions and intercompany transactions
• Manage multi-currency accounting, including FX revaluation, translation and consolidation into group reporting currency
• Prepare the consolidation of books of account across group entities, including intercompany eliminations, and deliver consolidated financial statements
• Maintain a clean, well-documented general ledger and close checklist, and continuously improve the close timeline
