Senior Analyst - Energy Modeling

About the role

The role requires hands-on experience with PLEXOS and the ability to independently manage modeling workflows from data preparation and model configuration through simulation, quality assurance, analysis, and delivery of results.

What you'll do

• Develop and run PLEXOS models for North American power markets, including production cost, capacity expansion, and market simulation studies
• Support reliability and resource adequacy analysis across different system and market scenarios
• Review model results, troubleshoot issues, and translate outputs into clear market and system insights
• Price Forecasting & Modeling Workflows
• Manage established power price forecasting workflows, from data preparation and model runs through QA and final outputs

What you need

• 3–6 yrs of experience
• Python

• NumPy
• B.Tech or B.E.
