Senior Analyst - Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Account Payables team part of our risk, reinsurance, and capital business at Marsh. This role will be based in Pune – Business Bay. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting, diligence, and experience managing high-volume cash transactions in an insurance or financial operations environment.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end cash applications for high-volume and complex accounts, ensuring accurate posting and timely resolution of exceptions
• Support reconciliations, reporting, month-end activities, and compliance with SOX and audit requirements
• Guide junior team members, manage escalations, and contribute to process improvements, automation, and smooth team operations
• Review the payment requisition report and highlight entries which need Accounting Ops Manager to review manually
• Ensure appropriate Business approvals & supporting information have been attached in case of sanction check scenario
