Senior Atlassian Administrator

About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. The Senior Atlassian Administrator will play a key role in managing, securing, and optimizing enterprise-wide Atlassian platforms in a complex, global technology environment. You will oversee the administration of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence across both Cloud and Data Center/on-premises environments.

What you'll do

• Administer and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence across Atlassian Cloud and Data Center/on-premises environments
• Configure and manage projects, spaces, workflows, screens, custom fields, permissions, notifications, issue types, service portals, queues, SLAs, and knowledge bases
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and overall health through regular maintenance, indexing, log reviews, capacity planning, and proactive troubleshooting
• Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and administrative privileges while enforcing least-privilege access and segregation-of-duties principles
• Oversee the lifecycle of Atlassian Marketplace applications, including evaluation, licensing, compatibility testing, upgrades, and decommissioning
