Senior Business Analyst

About the role

This is an end-to-end ownership role. The Senior Business Analyst (BSA) is accountable for the business-facing thread of an automation or AI initiative from first stakeholder conversation to post-production stabilisation.

What you'll do

• Lead structured discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, job shadowing and process walkthroughs with business SMEs to capture the true operating process
• Perform automation feasibility and complexity assessment; qualify or disqualify candidate processes against standardisation, rule-clarity, volume
• Build the business case: quantify AS-IS effort, volumes, FTE cost, error rates and cycle times; model expected benefit, ROI, payback period and effort estimate
• Use Process Mining and Task Mining outputs where available to validate stated process behaviour against actual system event data
• Conduct deep-dive "As-Is" analysis to design optimized "To-Be" states, ensuring processes are not just automated, but architected for peak efficiency
