Senior Data Scientist - AI Labs

About the role

As a Senior Data Scientist in the Data & Analytics function at IDFC FIRST Bank, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced machine learning and statistical techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets. You will lead Gen AI initiatives, build predictive models, and collaborate with ML engineers to ensure seamless deployment and performance of data science solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead Generative AI projects within cross-functional teams, driving innovation and business impact
• Develop and deploy predictive models using Python or R and libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Apply advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques to solve business problems
• Work extensively with Natural Language Processing (NLP) frameworks like NLTK, SpaCy, Gensim, and transformer models (e.g., BERT, GPT)
• Implement text analytics techniques including topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and text classification
