About the role
We are looking for E1.1 or E1.2 (max) engineer with basic Scala knowledge and hands-on understanding of CI/CD and software engineering practices, who can be rapidly upskilled on the Quantexa platform. The role will support data engineering and financial crime/risk-related solutions, with an initial focus on building Quantexa foundational capability.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain applications/components using Scala with guidance from senior engineers
- Work with existing CI/CD pipelines, source control and automated deployment processes
- Understand data ingestion, transformation and processing concepts
- Troubleshoot build, deployment and application issues across development environments
- Participate in code reviews, testing and engineering quality practices
