Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting modules for laboratory medical devices. The incumbent practices best design practices and follow quality processes defined during development. This position reports to the Embedded Systems Manager - Life Cycle Management team and is part of the R&D Hardware/Systems Development team located in Bengaluru – BDC and will be an on-site role.

What you'll do

• Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting modules for laboratory medical devices
• Design Change and develop high-density, multi-layer PCBs with analog/digital/mixed-signal circuits of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics new
• Own hardware development from concept to release, including design verification and risk mitigation
• Ensure compliance with IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and FDA Class I/II requirements by coordinating external EMC/safety testing and driving design updates based on test outcomes
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product issues
