About the role

As a Senior Engineer - CAE, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the performance and safety of vehicle components and systems through your expertise in finite element modelling. Conducting comprehensive finite element analysis (FEA) of vehicle structures, focusing on optimising designs for both performance and manufacturability.

What you'll do

• Play a pivotal role in advancing the performance and safety of vehicle components and systems through your expertise in finite element modelling
• Conducting comprehensive finite element analysis (FEA) of vehicle structures, focusing on optimising designs for both performance and manufacturability
• Applying your knowledge in assigning thickness and material properties to components, ensuring robust and efficient designs
• Building finite element assemblies while understanding complex connections such as spot and seam welding, crucial for maintaining structural integrity
• Performing linear and nonlinear static analyses, applying loads and boundary conditions meticulously to assess vehicle component resilience
