Senior Engineer - Civil (Power)

About the role

WSP is currently seeking a Senior Engineer – Civil & Structural to join our Power department. Working out of our office in India, while collaborating closely with our office in USA, the Senior Engineer – Civil & Structural will report directly to the Structural Discipline Lead, Power & Energy, USA. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has an excellent knowledge of the field and is versatile.

What you'll do

• Working out of our office in India, while collaborating closely with our office in USA, the Senior Engineer
• Design light foundations and structures for solar farms, battery energy storage facilities, and substation projects
• Design heavy foundations and structures for large power generation projects: generators, turbines, transformers, pipe racks, gas compressors, metal building systems
• Design structural steel systems for buildings, Platforms, equipment supports, etc
• Coordinate design requirements with drafter/designers

What you need

• 7–13 yrs of experience
• AutoCAD
• STAAD Pro
• Construction
• Power systems
• Technical writing
• SAP
• B.Tech or B.E.
