About the role
Senior Engineer - Connectors & Backshells at Eaton. Be responsible for the design activities of Eaton’s electrical connectors, accessories.
What you'll do
- This role supports project engineering in generating the CAD and drawings for new product development and product sustaining activities
- Performs design engineering work from concept development, trade studies, design for manufacturability, and final design documentation
- Can generate complex component drawings to effectively communicate requirements
- Able to develop creative solutions with existing technologies and add novel designs when required to meet the product requirements
- Able to support a reduced number of projects at once and effectively communicate commitments to international project teams
What you need
- 8–10 yrs of experience
- FMEA
- GD&T
- SolidWorks
- Creo
- Test cases
- B.Tech or B.E. or M.Tech
