About the role
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW ABAP Consultant to support a Qlik to SAC & Power BI migration program. The backend system is BW on HANA / BW/4HANA, and the role involves redesigning and implementing transformation logic in BW that is currently handled in Qlik. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring optimized data models, efficient transformations, and high-performance data flows to support reporting in Power BI.
What you'll do
- BW Data Modeling & Development
- Design and enhance InfoProviders (ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views)
- Develop and modify BW Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains
- Implement complex transformation logic using ABAP routines (Start, End, Field Routines, Expert Routines)
- Migrate and replicate transformation logic currently implemented in Qlik into BW
