Senior Engineer, Digital Innovation

From powering AskChemille and enterprise knowledge discovery to enabling customer experience agents and next-generation autonomous workflows, this role sits at the center of Celanese's AI strategy.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise AI applications, copilots, intelligent assistants, agents, APIs, and automation solutions
• Translate business opportunities into AI architectures, solution designs, data-grounding approaches, agent workflows, and operational controls
• Build reusable AI services, prompt frameworks, agent templates, orchestration components, connectors
• Design and develop autonomous and human-in-the-loop agent workflows capable of planning, reasoning, tool utilization, API integration, task execution
• Implement enterprise-grade controls including guardrails, approvals, role-based access controls, auditability, security controls, monitoring, and responsible AI practices
