Senior Engineer- Fire and Life Safety

About the role

The Senior Fire Engineer will be part of the Fire Protection Engineering Team to serve as an expert technical consultant on fire safety, fire prevention, fire protection and life safety engineering issues for internal and external clients.

What you'll do

• Consulting engineering and project management for all fire safety and fire system design aspects of all assigned projects
• Develop fire safety plans for evacuation, way finding, firefighting equipment, fire wall ratings, escape widths, etc
• Write reports detailing rational designs which deviate from the deemed to satisfy rules solutions
• Prepare and write reports and develop drawings to detailing specific fire prevention and protection issues for new building projects and existing building upgrades
• Consult with authorities to discuss fire safety regulations and to recommend changes as necessary for projects

What you need

• 8–12 yrs of experience
