About the role
Senior Engineer- Mechanical (LV Switchgear) at Eaton. "We are seeking a motivated individual to support the development and maintenance of Low Voltage (LV) switchgears.
What you'll do
- Design and develop LV switchgears (AC and DC rated breakers, Switch disconnector contactors, motor relays, auxiliary contacts
- Complete system/component sizing, designing, simulation, and testing validation to industrialization
- Design parts and products considering design for manufacturing and assembly, applying thorough understanding and experience of plastic injection molding, sheet metal
- Conduct engineering analysis of arc chambers, current paths, and contacts for innovative and robust product development
