Senior Engineer - Quality

About the role

Ensure effective control of welding parameters, preheating, interpass temperature, distortion and weld quality. Review and audit NDT processes such as VT, MT, PT and UT, as applicable. Ensure proper control of dimensional inspection, alignment, flatness, distortion and critical interfaces. Verify fabrication jigs, fixtures, measuring equipment and calibration.

What you'll do

• Ensure effective control of CTQs, dimensional characteristics and welding-related special characteristics
• Evaluate and audit welding processes, WPS/PQR, welder qualifications and welding consumable controls
• Ensure effective control of welding parameters, preheating, interpass temperature, distortion and weld quality
• Review and audit NDT processes such as VT, MT, PT and UT, as applicable
• Ensure proper control of dimensional inspection, alignment, flatness, distortion and critical interfaces
