Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality

About the role

As a Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality , you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our supplier base. Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, you will drive quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle, from new product introduction and process changes to ongoing supplier performance management.

What you'll do

• Lead supplier quality planning activities for new product development and engineering changes using APQP methodologies
• Manage supplier quality issues by driving effective root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and sustainable resolution of non-conformances
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with quality standards, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen supplier performance
• Monitor and improve supplier quality performance through key metrics such as DPPM
• Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support containment activities, supplier development programs

What you need

• 10–12 yrs of experience
• APQP
• PPAP
• Mechanical engineering
• ISO 9001
• IATF 16949
• FMEA
• B.Tech or B.E.
