Senior Engineering Manager

About the role

This role isn't about "keeping the lights on." This is about building the platform that thousands of independent medical practices will run their businesses on. If you want your next chapter measured in what you shipped, not what you maintained, read on. You will lead a team of strong backend and frontend engineers building the core systems that move money and run operations for 200+ dermatology practices.

What you'll do

• Lead, grow, and mentor a team of engineers, and help each of them reach their potential
• Own delivery for your team: plan well, ship value quickly, and keep momentum without sacrificing quality
• Stay close to the technology. Set technical direction for distributed systems, APIs, and modern web applications
• Push for the simplest path that works. Encourage healthy debate, push back on overly complex solutions, and once a decision is made, move forward together
• Partner with product and design to turn business needs into clear engineering goals
