Senior Executive - FinOps

About the role

FinOps & Data Analyst will be responsible for reporting financial metadata of Cloud (AWS, Azure, SaaS) and Onprem (Mainframe, Midrange) environments to create run cost visibility across Hapag-Lloyd AG. This role combines FinOps FOCUS practices (forecasting, budgeting, unit economics) with strong data engineering and analytical skills (ETL, dashboards, Python automation) to deliver actionable insights and financial governance.

What you'll do

• Responsible for reporting financial metadata of Cloud (AWS, Azure, SaaS) and Onprem (Mainframe, Midrange) environments to create run cost visibility across Hapag-Lloyd AG
• Monitor, analyze & report cost trends across AWS/Azure/On-prem environments
• Track and analyze key cost drivers (compute, storage, network, SaaS)
• Support monthly cost forecasting using driver-based or regression models
• Develop and maintain unit economics, cost allocation models, tagging frameworks, and showback/chargeback
