Senior Global Sourcing Engineer

About the role

The Senior Global Sourcing Engineer is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies that improve supplier performance, strengthen supply continuity, reduce material cost, and support business growth.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies while identifying, evaluating, and managing supplier performance
• Lead supplier audits, capability assessments, risk evaluations, and supplier development initiatives to support sourcing and operational objectives
• Collaborate with suppliers to optimize production planning, scheduling, capacity utilization, and delivery performance
• Analyze supplier capacity, production constraints, lead times, and material availability to support demand planning and SIOP activities
• Perform product cost analysis, develop should-cost models, benchmark pricing, and identify value engineering opportunities
