Senior Hardware Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Hardware Design and Validation Engineer to support the design, development, prototyping, and validation of Magnetic and Vortex Flow Meters. In this role, you will work closely with engineering leaders to develop reliable hardware solutions, execute product validation activities, and support product development from concept through product release.

What you'll do

• Execute assigned hardware design, prototype development, and validation activities under the guidance of engineering leadership to achieve project objectives
• Design and develop hardware for flow transmitters, including schematic design, design calculations, PCB layout reviews, and technical documentation
• Support prototype development activities to ensure timely availability of engineering samples for testing and validation
• Review and understand product requirements and specifications and develop comprehensive validation plans
• Create test plans covering timelines, test environments, risk identification, mitigation strategies, and lessons learned
