About the role

Senior z/OS systems programmer with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience. The position provides technical support for multiple large scale z/OS parallel SYSPLEX environments running multi-tiered applications making heavy use of various vendor products. The functions of the position include technical guidance and advice to Data Center Operations, support teams, application developers and end users.

What you'll do

  • The operating systems programmer role is instrumental in delivering key infrastructure initiatives, including ARC recovery and z16 server upgrades
  • SMPE -Configure SMPE,Order Software, Install Software
  • Assembler Programming - Analyze svcdump, logrec diagnostic data
  • ZOSMF - Install software release upgrades using dialogs, Build software maintenance workflows
  • IBMLINK – Order software, Create IBM problem ticket, Research IBM software issues

What you need

  • 10–12 yrs of experience
