Senior IT Portfolio Manager

About the role

The IT Portfolio Manager ensures that the global IT project and change portfolio is well governed, strategically aligned, and delivers measurable business value. While the role requires a structured and disciplined approach to portfolio processes, it equally demands a pragmatic, content-oriented mindset.

What you'll do

• Manage the IT portfolio lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, resource allocation, execution monitoring, and benefit realization
• Balance process discipline with practical delivery, ensuring governance adds value and does not create unnecessary overhead
• Provide portfolio transparency and insights through clear, actionable reporting and analysis (financial, risk, resource, and progress)
• Act as a sparring partner to project managers, providing both guidance and challenge on content, scope, and interdependencies
• Work closely with the Director Change & Projects and IT Leadership to translate strategy into an executable, balanced portfolio
