Senior Lead Engineer – Repair Engineering

About the role

This position is for a Senior Repair Engineering professional with sound knowledge and technical expertise in designing repairs and providing technical solutions on all Collins Aerostructures commercial Nacelle hardware to help minimize aircraft downtime and ensure compliance with certified type design and airworthiness (FAA/EASA) requirements.Primary

What you'll do

• Quickly understands and assesses Airlines’ unique requirements and provides technical and informational support for in-service issues
• Reviews various maintenance documentation to identify solution(s) for in-service concerns and look proactively for potential fleet solutions
• Reviews engineering drawings and installations to ensure customer questions/concerns are resolved
• Investigate the problems to provide engineering dispositions of discrepancies to return airplanes to revenue services
• Design repair solutions for medium to complex technical issues requiring creativity and ingenuity in helping airlines with operational and maintenance requirements

What you need

• 6–10 yrs of experience
• Maintenance
• B.Tech or B.E.
