Senior Manager, Accounting (Inventory)

About the role

The Senior Manager leads the AIIC Inventory Accounting team and is accountable for the timely, accurate, and well-controlled execution of inventory accounting activities supporting the financial close and external reporting processes. The role oversees journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory analyses, internal controls, audit support, process documentation, and issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the AIIC Inventory Accounting team, establish clear priorities, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory analyses, and management reporting
• Review inventory balances, valuation, shrink, reserves, obsolescence, and related accounting matters; investigate and resolve significant variances and reconciling items
• Ensure inventory accounting complies with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and established close and documentation standards
• Partner with U.S. Inventory Accounting leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve accounting, data, process, and control issues
