Senior Manager, Accounting

About the role

This role will lead core corporate accounting activities, global close execution, balance-sheet integrity, reconciliations, accounting operations, and process improvement across MongoDB’s multi-entity environment. The Senior Manager will partner closely with General Ledger, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax, Internal Audit, and external auditors.

What you'll do

• Corporate accounting and global close
• Lead and review corporate accounting activities across the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
• Own the quality and timeliness of balance-sheet reconciliations, journal entries, account analyses, flux explanations, and other close deliverables
• Coordinate with global accounting teams to resolve variances, strengthen close procedures, and maintain consistent accounting practices across entities
• Support consolidation activities, intercompany accounting, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, and other corporate accounting areas as assigned
