What you'll do

  • Evaluate property and engineering risks based on risk inspection reports, technical details, and underwriting submissions
  • Review engineering drawings, project plans, specifications, and schedules to identify exposures and mitigation measures
  • Assess frequency and severity of risks arising from natural catastrophes, mechanical failures, fire hazards, and operational factors
  • Underwrite property and engineering proposals in line with company underwriting philosophy and authority limits
  • Determine appropriate coverage terms, conditions, deductibles, and pricing based on risk quality and market dynamics
