Senior Manager of Accounting

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role combining accounting expertise, team management and the development of scalable processes, controls and systems.

What you'll do

• General ledger and financial close
• Own the Record to Report close calendar, task allocation and delivery for entities in scope, coordinating dependencies with revenue, payroll, procure to pay
• Oversee preparation, review and posting of journals, ensuring appropriate support, approvals, cut-off and consistent application of approved accounting policies
• Manage non-revenue accruals, prepayments, provisions and other general ledger balances, working with business owners to validate assumptions and supporting evidence
• Review trial balances and account movements, investigate unexpected fluctuations and resolve accounting issues before ledger close
