Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Braking systems

About the role

Responsible for Plant support at Bosch Chakan plant for Braking systems (2 wheeler-ABS) based on customer and project requirements. The role involves end-to-end topic collaboration/ ownership, timely and error-free execution of engineering activities, technical coordination, mentoring, and driving innovation and cost optimization.

What you'll do

• Resolve manufacturing issues affecting production output
• Ensure smooth start of serial production (SOP)
• Drive design optimization, innovation, value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
• Drive reduction of quality defects and customer complaints
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) using 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-Why methods

What you need

• 8–12 yrs of experience
• Root cause analysis
• FMEA
• Siemens NX
• SAP
• GD&T
• Mechanical engineering
• B.Tech or B.E. or M.Tech

Good to have

• SOP writing
