Senior Product Specialist

About the role

The Application person is responsible for technical pre and post-sales support activities for FTIR/NIR based instrumentation in dairy by providing technical expertise for application support, chemometric modeling, and advanced training. The individual is required to understand customer problems and how to apply our analyzers to solve them by developing the required application using the chemometric software used for the instrument by PerkinElmer.

What you'll do

• Develop and qualify on-line, in-line, and at-line methods
• Perform data analysis using statistics, multivariate calibration software, and spectroscopy software to develop PLS, ANN based calibration
• Collaborate with Process Engineers and Analytical Scientists to deploy online performance indicators, implement and enable enhanced process control strategies
• Provide training to clients on the use of the instrumentation and software (at site or remotely if required)
• Develop and capture potential intellectual property as invention disclosures and if appropriate work with an attorney to help submit patent applications
