Senior QA Engineer

About the role

A Senior QA Engineer at Mercari India is responsible for building quality into every stage of the software development lifecycle. The role works closely with software engineers, product managers, designers and stakeholders to improve testability, identify risks early and ensure reliable product releases.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test strategies based on business and technical requirements
• Identify, document, track, and help resolve quality risks, defects and issues
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile, web, API, and backend systems
• Use AI tools and AI-powered workflows to improve test design, execution, analysis, and productivity
• Drive functional and non-functional testing, including regression, performance, reliability, scalability, and resilience testing
