About the role

Shift-based, including emergency duties, night shifts, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as per hospital policy A. Pre-Anaesthetic Assessment and Preparation Conduct comprehensive pre-anaesthetic evaluations for patients scheduled for elective and emergency surgeries. Review patient medical history, previous anaesthesia records, current medications, allergies, comorbidities, and relevant investigations.

What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anaesthetic evaluations for patients scheduled for elective and emergency surgeries
• Review patient medical history, previous anaesthesia records, current medications, allergies, comorbidities, and relevant investigations
• Assess airway, cardiovascular status, respiratory function, and other factors relevant to anaesthetic risk
• Identify high-risk patients and escalate concerns to the consultant anaesthesiologist
• Ensure appropriate preoperative preparation, including fasting status, medication review, and optimization of associated medical conditions
