Senior Revenue Accountant (ASC 606 Contract Review)

About the role

You are an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant with 5+ years of accounting experience and deep expertise in revenue recognition under ASC 606. You will be a key member of our Corporate Revenue Accounting team based in India, leading technical reviews of customer contracts (both short-form and long-form) so that revenue is recorded correctly under our policies.

What you'll do

• Lead technical reviews of customer contracts under ASC 606, including identifying distinct performance obligations, allocating the transaction price
• Document revenue recognition conclusions in deal-specific technical accounting memos and advise Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk on non-standard contract terms
• Prepare revenue forecast schedules with supporting tickmarks, post monthly and quarterly revenue journal entries
• Prepare and post monthly and quarterly revenue journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
• As primary point of contact, manage and respond to internal and external audit requests for statutory audits across our global entities
