Senior Software Engineer (C++, MacOS)

About the role

You will be a senior engineer on the x360Sync team at ConnectWise, owning development of the macOS agent — a native desktop application at the heart of the x360Sync backup and file sync product. The application is primarily written in C++, with Swift and Objective-C used for macOS-native components. You will be stepping into a mature codebase with real ownership and scope from day one.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain features in the x360Sync macOS agent, working primarily in C++ with Swift and Objective-C for platform-native integrations
• Debug and resolve production issues, including deep-dive investigation across the application stack and macOS system APIs
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing technical recommendations grounded in macOS platform best practices
• Write clean, well-tested code and take part in code reviews — both giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver features on schedule without cutting corners on quality
