About the role

We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Regulatory team and set the technical direction for the systems that make scientific data trustworthy, structured, and globally compliant.

What you'll do

Own the technical architecture of core regulatory services: Safety Data Sheet generation, rule engine, substance data
Define engineering standards for correctness, clarity, and long-term maintainability across the Regulatory team, and hold that bar through design reviews, code reviews
Drive spec-first engineering culture: author and review technical specs, treat data correctness as a first-class concern
Own architectural decisions on regulatory systems in close partnership with Product and Customer Success
Lead regulatory triage and scoping conversations, translating complex, ambiguous requirements into structured delivery plans, and owning execution with minimal overhead
