Senior Staff Solution Architect – Revenue Recognition (Oracle Fusion))

About the role

This role is part of the IT Finance Systems team and provides senior solution leadership for Revenue Recognition as GE HealthCare migrates from Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to Oracle Fusion Cloud. We are looking for a revenue accounting practitioner who has delivered multiple ERP implementations across industries and can bring leading practices that go beyond any single platform.

What you'll do

• Act as the design authority for revenue recognition: define target-state business processes and the solution architecture across contract and performance obligation…
• Advise Finance, Controllership, Commercial, Tax, and business leaders on leading practices in revenue accounting
• Lead revenue recognition design for contract and transaction scenarios, including performance obligations, allocation, satisfaction events, contract modifications
• Define and govern the use and integration of Revenue Management, Subledger Accounting, General Ledger, and upstream order, billing
• Provide hands-on application leadership for configuration, setup validation, and prototyping, and assess downstream business, accounting, control, security, reporting
