Senior Staff Systems Engineer, Network & Security

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Staff Systems Engineer – Network & Security to lead the design and operation of secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure supporting our internal IT and SaaS platform environments. This role is deeply hands-on while also setting architectural direction, with a strong emphasis on AWS networking, cloud security, and zero trust principles .

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for 24x7 security monitoring and response across multiple platforms and environments
• Establish operational processes, escalation paths, and performance metrics for continuous monitoring and incident response
• Architect and implement zero trust network access (ZTNA) for the workforce and systems
• Design network segmentation strategies across AWS and internal environments
• Deploy and manage security controls (NGFW, WAF, Shield, IDS/IPS, secure proxies)
