Senior Tax Associate - Individual Tax, GMS

About the role

In this position, your main duty will be to act as the first point of contact for inquiries related to Employment Tax. As you evolve into a Subject Matter Expert, you will work closely with clients, guiding them through complex employment tax issues.

What you'll do

• Understand and analyze residential status under Income Tax Act, FEMA, and tax treaties
• Advise on tax and social security implications for employees and employers, including secondment arrangements and employer reporting obligations
• Handle complex tax returns, including foreign asset reporting
• Analyze and advise on taxability of equity plans (e.g., stock options, RSUs)
• Assist in scrutiny, rectification, and appeals up to CIT level
