Senior Technical Lead

About the role

The Technical Lead will provide overall technical leadership for the delivery of a digital solution and will act as the primary technical authority between BP technology teams, the external supplier, and business stakeholders. The role is accountable for ensuring technical quality, architecture compliance, delivery assurance, and successful implementation of the agreed solution to deliver the business outcome agreed.

What you'll do

• Provide end-to-end technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle
• Own technical governance and oversee supplier technical delivery to ensure alignment with approved requirements, architecture, and standards
• Lead technical discussions with internal technology teams, architects, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and suppliers
• Review and challenge solution designs, technical specifications, implementation approaches, and delivery plans
• Ensure the solution architecture is scalable, supportable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards
