Senior Test Lead

About the role

experienced Performance Tester with a strong specialization in API performance testing to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests for RESTful/SOAP APIs and microservices, ensuring systems perform reliably under real-world conditions

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts for APIs, focusing on load, stress, spike, soak, and scalability testing
• Define performance test strategy, NFRs (non-functional requirements), and SLAs in collaboration with architects, developers, and product owners
• Simulate realistic API traffic patterns and concurrent user loads to identify bottlenecks, latency issues, and throughput limitations
• Analyze API response times, error rates, resource utilization (CPU, memory, DB, network), and system behavior under load
• Identify performance bottlenecks at the application, database, network, and infrastructure levels, and work with engineering teams to resolve them
