About the role
We are looking for an experienced PLC & Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in automobile manufacturing plants . The role will involve PLC troubleshooting and programming, HMI, VFDs, industrial PCs, instrumentation, machine controls and automation maintenance across various production shops.
What you'll do
- Handle PLC systems across Press Shop, Axle Shop, Frame Shop, Paint Shop and Test Cells in an automobile assembly plant
- Troubleshoot PLC hardware/software and perform fault diagnosis
- Work with PLC programming and engineering software including SIMATIC Manager, TIA Portal and RSLogix
- Perform PLC program backup and restoration whenever required
- Carry out minor PLC program modifications to improve machine efficiency
