What you'll do

  • Diagnose and rectify defects in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and control panels onboard ships
  • Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems (CO₂, FM200, Water Mist, Foam)
  • Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems
  • Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program upload/download
  • Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting
