Set and Production Design Expert

About the role

We are seeking experienced Set and Production Design Experts to evaluate set designs, production environments and spatial concepts across film, television, theatre, commercials, photography and live events. In this role, you will use your professional industry knowledge to assess the quality, practicality and creative effectiveness of production design work.

What you'll do

• Evaluate Design Concepts: Review set designs, room layouts, production environments and visual concepts against creative briefs, scripts and project requirements
• Assess Visual Effectiveness: Evaluate composition, scale, proportions, spatial arrangement, color palettes, textures, materials and overall visual coherence
• Review Camera and Performance Practicality: Assess sightlines, camera angles, framing, lighting considerations, actor movement and the functional use of the space
• Identify Production Risks: Highlight potential issues that could affect execution, including impractical layouts, unsuitable materials, inaccurate period details
• Assess Creative Alignment: Determine whether proposed designs effectively support the story, setting, atmosphere, characters and intended visual direction
