About the role

The Mines Manager/Site Head is responsible for overseeing all aspects of mine operations, including production, safety compliance, resource management, and statutory approvals. This role ensures efficient planning and execution of mining activities while aligning with environmental and regulatory standards.

What you'll do

  • Oversee daily mining operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
  • Supervise drilling, blasting, excavation, and transportation activities to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Implement cost-effective measures to enhance operational performance and stay within allocated budgets
  • Monitor and evaluate mining equipment performance, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs to prevent delays
  • Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline mining processes
