About the role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer 1 (Backend) to build and scale the APIs and services that power Transak's global on/off ramp platform. You will work primarily with Node.js, MongoDB, and Redis in a microservices environment, shipping production features that are used by millions of users across our partner applications.
What you'll do
- API & Service Development
- Build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in Node.js
- Model data effectively in MongoDB and use Redis for caching, queues, and rate limiting
- Contribute to microservices with clean, readable, and well-documented code
- Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews
