Software Development Engineer - CFD

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer – CFD Post Processing to join our development team and contribute to the continued evolution of the Simcenter HyperMesh CFD (HMCFD) interface. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance GUI-based software capabilities used by engineers working with advanced CFD workflows.

What you'll do

• Develop core product capabilities: Design, implement, test, and enhance software features for the HMCFD graphical user interface using C/C++ and appropriate software…
• Build intuitive engineering interfaces: Develop and maintain GUI functionality that enables engineers to efficiently prepare CFD models, interact with simulation data
• Solve complex technical problems: Analyze user and product requirements, investigate technical challenges, and develop robust
• Develop automation and customization: Use Python and Tcl scripting to automate workflows, customize solutions
• Collaborate across engineering teams: Work closely with software developers, CFD specialists, product teams
