Software Engineer_DevOps(Python) at APTIV. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, operate, and continuously improve secure and reliable software delivery platforms for engineering teams.

What you'll do

  • The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, operate, and continuously improve secure and reliable software delivery platforms for engineering teams
  • The role owns end-to-end CI/CD automation, Git and GitHub-based development workflows, build and release tooling, containerized execution environments
  • The engineer will partner with software developers, verification teams, security stakeholders, and platform teams to reduce delivery lead time, improve build quality
  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Jenkins scripted and declarative pipelines, including reusable libraries, parameterized jobs, parallel stages, artifact handling
  • Own Git and GitHub workflows, including repository setup, branching strategies, pull requests, code review policies, protected branches, CODEOWNERS, release tags
