Software Engineer II (Java, backend)

You’ll help deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions for the global property and casualty insurance industry, focusing on operational excellence and transformative innovation. This is an onsite, full-time opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative team. InsuranceNow is an all-in-one core, data analytics, and digital engagement system providing comprehensive insurance business functionality.

What you'll do

• Analyze product requirements and translate them into functional definitions and software designs for the InsuranceNow product
• Develop product features and write automated tests, dedicating over 80% of your time to hands-on coding
• Contribute to the continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for InsuranceNow services
• Maintain secure code and proactively resolve application security findings in collaboration with our security teams
• Triage and resolve code defects to ensure high-quality, reliable releases
